Job Description

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure the effective execution of their roles and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) responsibilities. Your daily tasks will include:
\xc2\xb7Providing timely and effective operational SHE support and advice to the business unit.
\xc2\xb7Implementing and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, Kier Group\'s SHEA IMS, Client requirements, and best practices.
\xc2\xb7Conducting regular and robust health and safety inspections and audits.
\xc2\xb7Managing the reporting and review of SHEA accidents/incidents on the contract.
\xc2\xb7Ensuring all new starters are appropriately inducted.
What are we looking for?
This role of Health and Safety Advisor is ideal for candidates who possess:
\xc2\xb7NEBOSH Certificate (Construction) or equivalent qualification.
\xc2\xb7Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g., Tech IOSH or above).
\xc2\xb7Experience working in a similar role within the construction/highways industry.we prioritise finding potential, and we welcome candidates with transferable skills.
