We're committed to excellence in everything we do, and we have a dynamic role for a high performing individual to join our HSE team.Reporting to the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager you will support all the business on assigned HSE tasks with the delivery of HSE Plans which ensures the site is fully compliant, managers are proactive and create a culture conducive to the achievement of Business aims and thus delivers bottom line value. Working closely with the operational management team to develop line management capability and the implementation of good people management practices through advising on complex operational matters, coaching and mentoring.What youll do:Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance to local Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company policies and requirements.HSE Performance KPI reporting, environmental monitoring and measurement.Leading HSE Steering meetings, Safety Committees.Assistance in the Claims management process.Review of HSE Risk Assessment, Policies and Procedures regularly.To provide support on HSE and continuous improvement Projects.To carry out Accident/Incident investigations on site and provide support to other investigations.Working with regulatory enforcement agencies / Insurance agencies / occupational health providers.Identify requirements and deliver for HSE Training. Deliver HSE training as necessary.Collaborate with site teams; leadership, production, engineering, logistics, purchasing to ensure completion of HSE improvement plans, deployment of HSE/SIF roadmaps and to ensure safe working environment.Collaborate within the site and externally to ensure the safety of contractors and visitors.Support HSE budget as necessary; to process purchase orders and resolving invoice purchase order queries.Coordinating and consulting with leadership teams.This above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role.What youll bring:The successful candidate must have:A NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar.Experience gained in a similar role.Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental LegislationA good working knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR and Display Screen Equipment.The below would also be desirable though not essential:Ability to demonstrate significant experience of working within manufacturing environmentNEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management CertificateNEBOSH Environment Certificate or similar.NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Well being at workTrain the Trainer CertificateKnowledge of PPC Regulations, UK Packaging regulations,Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSelf-motivated and high energyAbility to work within a teamAbility to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing prioritiesNegotiation skillsCustomer focusAction OrientationExcellent verbal and written skillsAbility to influence at all levelsHighest level of integrity, honesty and trustDrive for resultsExcellent listening skillsBusiness AcumenPerseveranceWhy Join Us:We are a global company, and our culture is defined by our Values xe2x80x94 Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship.
