Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HSE Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting health, safety, and environmental practices within the organisation. This position involves conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety among employees. The HSE Advisor will work closely with various departments to implement effective safety measures and provide guidance on health and safety issues.

Responsibilities



Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance issues. Facilitate training sessions for staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Provide first aid support as necessary and ensure first aid kits are adequately stocked. Collaborate with management to promote a proactive approach to health and safety across all levels of the organisation. Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Skills



Strong report writing skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations. Proficient in root cause analysis techniques for identifying underlying issues related to health and safety incidents. Certification in first aid is essential; additional qualifications in health and safety management are advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documenting procedures and compliance efforts. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: 38,000.00-42,000.00 per year
