HSEQ Advisor

Redfish are recruiting for our client who is seeking a candidate to monitor and improve HSEQ standards, collect data, and advise site management, supervision and supply chain in all aspects of HSEQ at work.

The duties of a HSEQ Advisor:

  • Carry out regular, planned HSEQ inspections and audits.
  • Chair and attend Project HSEQ meetings and committees as agreed with the project teams, Liaise with Client, Principal Designer, Project teams about project HSEQ requirements.
  • Produce comprehensive audit reports inclusive of recommendations for improvement and verify that corrective and preventive action has been taken.
  • Support external, internal audits (ISO 9001/14001/45001)
  • Manage the project accident, incident investigation process through to lessons learnt with effective communication.
  • Build relationships internally with PME project teams and externally with client, Principal Designer and other stakeholders.
  • Any other duties associated with the role as directed by Head of HSEQ.
Essential Experience for a HSEQ Advisor
  • Experience as the Principal Contractor role within a construction civils capacity.
  • Experience with Data Centres.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification to a minimum of Level 3.
  • Accident, Incident Investigation.
  • Great communication and engagement skills.
  • Previous experience working within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Computer and IT literate.
Desirable Experience for a HSEQ Advisor:
  • Mechanical / Electrical contracting experience.
  • IEMA / NEBOSH environmental qualification.
  • Working towards IOSH grade.
  • Specialist area qualified in Temporary Works, Lifting Operations.
  • Sustainability Reporting.
