The HSEQ Manager is responsible for the health, safety, environment and quality aspects of the business.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert health and safety advice and knowledge to the business.
Foster a positive and proactive safety culture through engagement, leadership, empowerment, and accountability.
Monitoring, evaluating and reviewing existing, new and upcoming health and safety legislation and ensuring the business has systems, policies and practices in place to meet legal compliance.
Carrying out management system audits and inspections and managing a program of corrective/preventative actions for continuous improvement to ensure the highest standards in technical competence and safe working practices are met.
Ensuring that existing certifications and standards are maintained for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
Carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and record the findings and implement changes.
Acting as a role model and a champion for HSEQ in the company.
Education, experience and skills:
Have or working towards a NEBOSH General Safety certificate.
Previous experience as a HSEQ Manager / Safety professional.
ISO certification knowledge
