Working weekends at the Drop-In Hub service, providing a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for individuals experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, or multiple disadvantages. The role includes supporting clients, assisting with their immediate and ongoing needs, organising and facilitating activities,
About the role
Provide a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for individuals accessing the hub, promoting engagement and positive behaviour.
Support clients with their immediate and ongoing needs, including access to food, showers, laundry, clothing, and basic welfare provisions.
Assist individuals in completing forms, making onward referrals, and accessing relevant services such as housing, benefits, healthcare, and harm reduction support.
Facilitate and deliver creative, wellbeing, and practical life skills sessions designed to build confidence, routine, and community engagement.
Engage proactively with clients to build trust, identify needs, and provide support plans or referrals where appropriate.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of hub attendance, referrals, incidents, and outcomes in line with Sanctuary Trust procedures.
Participation in staff development & training and support the overall ethos of the Trust
