• xc2xb7 Contract Type: 3-month temporary contract
• xc2xb7 Pay Rate: $33xe2x80x93$35/hour (based on experience)
• xc2xb7 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• xc2xb7 Location: On-site

Human Resources Generalist xe2x80x93 Responsibilities:

• xc2xb7 Conduct internal investigations and employee meetings, escalating matters to HR leadership when required
• xc2xb7 Lead or support employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary documentation
• xc2xb7 Manage full-cycle recruitment for administrative roles; assist with hiring for production roles
• xc2xb7 Support the rollout of HR policies, procedures, and internal communications
• xc2xb7 Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on employment standards and workplace policies
• xc2xb7 Support WSIB claim management and return-to-work coordination as needed
• xc2xb7 Administer attendance management initiatives and provide reporting or support as needed
• xc2xb7 Facilitate or support internal training programs
• xc2xb7 Offer mentorship and day-to-day support to junior HR team members

Human Resources Generalist xe2x80x93 Qualifications

• xc2xb7 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
• xc2xb7 Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or related field
• xc2xb7 CHRP or CHRL designation (or in progress) is preferred
• xc2xb7 Experience working in unionized and/or manufacturing environments is an asset
• xc2xb7 Strong knowledge of employment legislation and WSIB processes
• xc2xb7 Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
• xc2xb7 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• xc2xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
