Job Summary

As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering effective HR services and support across the business. You will provide expert advice to managers and employees on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and HR best practices. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills.



Key Responsibilities

Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation Manage HR queries timely and effectively Monitoring and maintaining absence records, identifying trends or areas of concern. Co-ordination of staff changes in pay and conditions and leavers administration, including conducting exit interviews. Management of employee benefits schemes, to include pension, health insurance and commission/bonus arrangements. Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence matters Support the implementation of HR initiatives and strategic goals Coordinate performance management processes and provide coaching where necessary Assist with HR reporting, data analysis, and compliance tracking Support the end-to-end recruitment process including drafting job descriptions, shortlisting, assisting with interviews, offer letters and promoting a positive onboarding process. Support the delivery of learning and development activities. Contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies and procedures Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing programmes. Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values A proactive can-do attitude, identifying opportunities for change and business improvement

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 2-4 years in an HR advisory or generalist role Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) Coaching and mediation experience Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
