Summary
The post holder will support the Senior HR Advisors and HR Team Managers under supervision to provide a comprehensive range of employment services on a range of employee resourcing and relations issues in line with employment law and effective employment practice.
This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days working from home
Responsibilities
Provide advice and support to managers on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, bullying and harassment, and performance management matters under the supervision of HR Managers, including preparing documentation and attending associated meetings.
Support HR Managers and Senior HR Advisors in developing and delivering HR-related training, working closely with Learning and Development colleagues.
Participate in job matching and evaluation activities including advising on grading and banding under Agenda for Change.
Assist with the 'at risk' and redeployment processes under supervision, including identifying suitable alternative roles and maintaining the redeployment register.
Provide project support to HR Team Managers on key projects within the department as appropriate to role.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff-side representatives and colleagues to support operational objectives
Monitor fixed-term contract processes in line with Trust policies and under the supervision of Senior HR Advisors.
Assist in the development and review of HR policies and procedures as directed, ensuring alignment with changes in employment practice.
Support national and local HR initiatives under the guidance of HR Managers and Senior HR Advisors.
Essential Criteria
Minimum of 1 years experience in HR environment
Experience of advising managers on HR issues
HR related qualification at CIPD Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum e.g. Certificate in Personnel Practice or above
Evidence of CPD
