Role Description



We're excited to welcome a talented administrator who thrives on working with and supporting people and is ready to launch their Human Resources career. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a HR Apprentice on an 18-month fixed term contract with the potential to permanently join DDFI Ltd.

Working closely with the Head of HR and Health & Safety, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of generalist HR activities, while also developing core H&S knowledge; covering several different sectors. This role offers the chance to learn from experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment, giving you a strong foundation for your future HR career.

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will work towards achieving a CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 Qualification, fully funded by DDFI Ltd.

Key Responsibilities



Provide strong, accurate administrative support across the HR function. Guide managers and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and employment law, and assist employees with general HR enquiries. Assist with recruitment activities, onboarding processes, and employee lifecycle documentation. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with GDPR requirements. Support employee training, development initiatives, and general HR queries. Contribute to HR reporting, data collection, and project work. Assist the Head of HR and H&S with basic Health & Safety administration and compliance tasks. Support HR related travel across various sites in England and Wales. 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday.

About You



Passionate about people, teamwork, and delivering excellent service. Strong administrative and organisational skills with great attention to detail. Strong numerical skills. Confident communicator with a proactive and positive approach. Willingness to learn, grow, and take initiative. Full UK driving licence (or in progress) and ability to travel to other sites when required.

Qualifications



A minimum of Level 5/B in GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English. The right to work and reside in the UK. HR or Business qualification or experience desired. Willingness to learn and grow within a structured apprenticeship program

Pay: 14,722.50-19,500.00 per year
