Location: Chatham, Medway

Contract Status: Full-time - 40 hours a week.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: 26 000 - 30 000 per annum

Time4U Ltd is an independent supported living provider based in Chatham, with services in the Medway towns, Kent, London, Southampton, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Lancashire, Wolverhampton and Walsall. Since the company was established in 2016, we have grown from just 4 members of staff to over 450. We are trusted by local authorities, and we are one of their first point of call when itcomes to placing their clients with complex mental health and learning disabilities.

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our HR team based in Chatham, ME4.

Purpose of the role

The HR Assistant is a key partner to our staff and provides general HR advice and guidance to Line Managers and Senior Leadership Team. This role also supports the Group Director of People in the delivery of the company's operational plan in line with Time4U group organizational strategy.

Responsibilities And Duties

Provide advice, guidance and coaching to line managers on a wide range of employee relations cases. Advise and support Line Managers on the management of absence ensuring that triggers are actioned, and long-term sickness are carefully checked whist liaising with occupational health as needed. Provide HR support in formal processes e.g. disciplinary, grievance, appeals, absence reviews which includes acting as notetaker. Support the HR team during any consultant or redundancy procedure. Attend and function as the HR contact where appropriate. Support the Head of HR with TUPE processes and function as the HR contact where appropriate. Monitor, review and update all HR Policies and ensure these are in line with current legislation. In partnership with the HR Team, advise Line Managers on the recruitment and selection of their teams. Play a vital role in the onboarding of employees into the company to ensure it is effective and support line managers through the probationary process. Collate and process various HR documentation, forms and records ensuring correct and up to date information is held within the Company's HR system. Support the complex care managers in completing mandatory company trainings (via company training platform - Careskills) in line with current CQC regulations. Co ordinate, update and send monthly reports. Proactively identify, develop, and implement improvements to systems and processes to enhance HR efficiency. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's approach to supporting Equality, Inclusion and Diversity throughout all aspects of the company's work. Support the delivery of employee wellbeing initiatives.

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience:



Have or working towards a CIPD Level 5 qualification. Good knowledge of Microsoft programs Prior working experience of using any modern HR systems. At least 1 year of UK working experience in Human Resources Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. Highly organised, can-do attitude and ability to work on your own initiative.
