We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. This role requires a people-focused professional who can foster a positive work environment, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support both employees and management in achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions.
Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
Promote employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
Performance Management
Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
Work with managers to set performance goals, provide feedback, and identify training and development opportunities.
Monitor and address performance issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.
HR Administration & Compliance
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Manage payroll coordination with the finance team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee HR administrative tasks, including leave management, attendance tracking, and benefits administration.
Training & Development
Hire talented professionals and a keen to Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Support career development initiatives, such as mentorship programs and succession planning.
General HR Support
Assist in developing and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Provide support for HR projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, wellness programs, and company culture enhancement.
Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business goals.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in an HR role, with a strong background in recruitment, employee
relations, and HR administration.
In-depth knowledge of employment rules and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Desirable Skills
CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).
Background in conflict resolution and mediation.
