The Role
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join us on a part time basis, ideally 3 days per week, averaging 24 hours. This is a hands-on role supporting managers and employees across the business, providing pragmatic HR advice and ensuring best practice, compliance and a positive employee experience.
This role is based at our Dunsfold offices and would suit someone confident operating autonomously while working closely with senior stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinating and delivering new starter onboarding, including right to work checks, background screening and compliance documentation.
Supporting with new starter onboarding.
Advising and supporting line managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance management and sickness absence cases.
Providing clear and consistent advice to employees and managers on company policies and procedures.
Managing employee relations issues to promote a fair, respectful and positive working environment.
Maintaining accurate HR records, employee files and employment documentation.
Supporting internal communications to encourage engagement, collaboration and a strong workplace culture.
Who You Are
CIPD qualified at Level 5 or Level 7.
Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally with at least 2 years hands-on experience.
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Confident advising managers and handling sensitive employee relations matters end to end.
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams. Professional, discreet and comfortable handling confidential information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality, professional documentation.
