Job Description

As the HR Officer (Oil and Gas Industry), you will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders and hiring managers, driving talent acquisition strategies that align with operational needs. You will play a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality recruitment services, particularly for technical and field-based roles critical to our success in oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities



Partner with business units to understand workforce planning needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and non-technical roles across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, interview frameworks, and selection criteria. Identify and engage top talent through various sourcing channels, including direct sourcing, agencies, and talent pipelines. Ensure a strong candidate experience and employer brand representation. Track recruitment KPIs and provide regular reports to leadership. Ensure compliance with all internal policies and industry-specific labor regulations. Support talent mobility, succession planning, and diversity hiring initiatives.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, etc.) is a plus. 3+ years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment within the oil and gas, energy, or heavy industrial sectors. Proven track record of managing complex recruitment needs across multiple locations or projects. Experience and knowledge with disciplinary procedure and employment law. Strong understanding of labor market trends and oil & gas workforce demands. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing priorities. Preferred experience of looking after offshore personnel and liasing with Rig Managers
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 20.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Work Location: In person
