The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Officer will play a central role in coordinating and delivering the site's strategic HR activities. This position is ideal for someone with a solid HR foundation, such as a current HR Coordinator or HR Administrator, who is ready to take the next step in their HR career.
You will gain hands-on experience across leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, onboarding, and training, while ensuring HR processes effectively support business goals and contribute to a positive and compliant working environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Third-level qualification in HR, Business Studies, or a related discipline.
• CIPD membership (or working towards) or equivalent HR qualification.
• Experience in an HR support role (Coordinator, Administrator, or similar) within a fast-paced environment, with readiness to step up into an HR Officer position.
• Strong understanding of NI employment legislation.
• Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to manage confidential information professionally.
• Self-motivated and eager to develop further within HR.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of leadership development, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding and training programmes to support employee development.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems (OpenHR, Crown).
• Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and forms.
• Ensure compliance with NI employment legislation and internal policies.
• Assist with investigations and disciplinary processes in line with company procedures.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to managers on HR policies and best practice.
• Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely information.
• Update weekly HR metrics and maintain communication boards.
• Arrange annual medicals and contribute to wider HR projects across the site.
