Responsible for the HR function of Bradleys Pharmacy in conjunction with the Managing Director
Key areas of responsibility
To support the payroll function of the organisation:
To assist in the accurate and timely administration of payroll
To respond to queries from staff regarding pay and reward
To ensure that an accurate record of all payroll changes are recorded and that variation letters are issued to staff as a result of these changes.
To collate additional payroll information, such as overtime and other one-off charges or payments.
Liaising with managers, Finance and to ensure additional information is received in good time and changes to pay are authorised at the appropriate level before submission to Payroll
To pass on an up to date report on payroll changes to payroll each month
To liaise with our pension company regarding starts and leavers and amendments. Providing all pension information for staff as required.
Liaise with ELC Consultancy on behalf of the organisation on Human Resource and employee relations issues.
Manage Fair Employment documentation for the Equality Commission, filling in the annual Fair Employment return, dealing with queries from Equality Commission staff and completing the Triennial review.
Assist with the management of disciplinary and grievance procedures and employee relations within the organisation including employee tribunals and liaising with Labour Relations Agency.
Co-ordination of appraisals for all employees within the organisation.
Management of employee records and liaising with staff on a regular basis to update information
Liaise with statutory organisations and other external organisations on behalf of Bradleys, e.g. Health and Safety Works NI, Equality Commission NI, NPA, PSNI, University of Ulster, Training Providers etc
Manage the recruitment and selection of staff for the organisation including Fair Employment Monitoring
Design, delivery and facilitation of training courses for staff. Organise training and professional development for staff using external training providers.
Assisting pharmacy managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing policies and procedures.
Liaise will all staff when necessary on personnel management issues offering support and advise.
Promoting fair employment and equality of opportunity within the organisation.
Informing and advising management on legislative responsibilities.
Undertake training courses and professional development e.g. Equality Commission courses.
Offer assistance and advise on various aspects of health and safety to staff
Report on all aspects of Human Resources within Bradley's monthly

Qualifications / Experience Required
o Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification
o Ability to work on own initiative
o Experience of working in Human Resources
o People Management skills
o Communication skills
o IT skills and experience
