HVAC Engineer - Full-Time, Permanent

Location:

Sutton, Surrey (Covering London, Greater London & South of England)

Salary:

35,000 - 48,000 (Negotiable based on experience & qualifications)

is seeking an experienced

HVAC Engineer

to join its team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on a variety of

commercial building maintenance projects

, servicing and installing HVAC and mechanical systems across London and the South of England.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the

maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, and installation

of various

HVAC and mechanical systems

within commercial buildings. This role requires a

technically proficient engineer

who can work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

Key Responsibilities

Servicing and maintenance

of

gas-fired and oil-fired boilers, pumps, pipework systems, air handling units, valves, chillers, split A/C, and VRV/VRF systems

.

Fault diagnosis and repair

, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.

Installation and system upgrades

as required.

Client interaction

, ensuring clear and professional communication.

Technical reporting

, maintaining accurate records of work completed and any required recommendations.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Minimum

Level 2 F-Gas certification

. At least

five years of experience

in a similar role. Strong

fault-finding and problem-solving

abilities. Ability to work

independently

and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills

, both verbal and written. Good

computer literacy

for documentation and reporting. Experience within

M&E building services

. A

flexible approach

to work and a willingness to expand technical knowledge.

Desirable:

Experience working with

chillers

. Familiarity with

Home Office Security Vetting (SC) requirements

.
