Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer/HVAC engineer, that lives locally around Warrington/Manchester area.

The ideal candidate will be able to carry out service and maintenance, or installation works to air conditioning systems including splits, VRV/F, chillers, heat pumps and close control units.

The successful candidate will also be required to carry out servicing and reactive works to air handling units and chilled water systems, so a basic understanding of electrics and controls would be advantageous. Full training will be provided if required.

The works are varied and do require travelling to various site across the UK, with overnight stays when required but these are kept to a minimum.

We require someone who has -

Proven track record in working with AC systems and AHU systems. Experience in troubleshooting installations, fault finding, and repairs. CITB P&P Pipework and Brazing. Experience of working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations. F-Gas Certification City & Guilds (2079) Cat 1. NVQ Level 2/3 qualified*
Ability to follow work instructions read and interpret technical diagrams whilst reporting technical information as required. Excellent written and verbal communications*
Positive 'can do' attitude*
Able to work on their own or as part of a team*
highly articulate and presentable with excellent customer facing skills*
IT literate and good record/data keeping skills*
As these positions involve working in schools an Enhanced DBS check is required.*
Experience of building customer relationships*
Possession of a full UK driving licence and CSCS Card is essential.
