Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility and an excellent driving record. As a multi drop delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting parcels to customers homes or businesses while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle some heavy lifting as necessary.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting when required. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including complaint photographs to minimise any discrepancies. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is required. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is an is not necessary. . Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial, particularly in relation to loading and unloading procedures. Strong driving skills with driving licence are essential. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the delivery process. A hybrid driver will be taking out a mixture of larger and smaller parcels within a much smaller confined area with the ratio being about 1 big to 3 all for every route.

Drivers will be expected to deliver around 25ph because of drop density and should earn around 160 per day, 6 days per week.

This job is self-employed but we pay all fuel / van / insurance costs associated with delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
