We're looking for a confident and proactive individual to join our small, friendly office team in New Milton. This hybrid role combines office-based customer service and sales support with occasional face-to-face visits to customers. Ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping drive business growth.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Please note: Working hours may vary when carrying out external customer activity
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Administration
Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently
Respond to customer queries via phone and email
Provide helpful, accurate product and order information
Write and distribute email correspondence and internal memos
Maintain and update internal systems and procedures
Deliver general administrative support to the team
Hybrid Sales
Follow up on quotes and enquiries to convert them into orders
Support the external sales team with lead management and quoting
Proactively manage open quotes and customer accounts
Visit customers and stockists where appropriate to build relationships and support sales growth
Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities
Work towards sales activity and conversion targets
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or administration preferred
Confident communicator, both over the phone and in person
Good IT and Excel skills (CRM experience beneficial)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Willingness to travel to customer sites occasionally (local/regional)
Driving licence required
Team player with a can-do attitude and commercial awareness
