Job Description

Due to continued growth, we have the opportunity for a skilled engineer to join our small and friendly team based in Wath upon Dearne. The role will be a combination of on site work and occasionally you will be based in our well stocked workshop. The position offers the potential for career progression once your probation period has been successfully completed.

The role

: (Including but not limited to)

Assembling & repairing hydraulic hoses Hydraulic/mechanical repairs & servicing to vehicles, plant & machinery both on site and in the depot Manage a mobile unit, ensuring it is well stocked and can meet customers on-site needs. Alongside keeping it clean, tidy & well presented Completing jobs to a high standard to maintain our excellent reputation Safely unpacking and checking in goods inwards Provide trade counter cover as required Hydraulic cylinder repair - experience preferred but full training will be provided if necessary Completing relevant paperwork Accurately processing customer orders

Able to work well independently with minimal supervision A confident, polite and well mannered person with good communication skills Brings a practical, hands-on approach with strong fault-finding abilities Have the desire to go the extra mile for customers and posses a desire to develop in a growing, well established family business You must be reliable, punctual and take pride in good attendance Must hold full uk driving license Experience in a mechanical setting preferred but not necessary as full training will be given should it be necessary

The Hours:

This is a permanent position, however, the role will be subject to a successful probationary period.

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 - 5:30 Friday 8:00-5:00 Saturday 8:00-12:00 (2 on 1 off)

The starting salary will be 30,250 dependent on age and experience, which will increase once probation period has ended.

The position involves a variety of duties meaning a flexible approach to work is required.
