A position now exists at Pirtek Plymouth for a hands on Mobile Sales & Service Technician /Mechanical Fitter to join our experienced and busy team servicing customers in and around the Bodmin and surrounding areas as well as the surrounding area as a mobile/On Site Hydraulic Hose Replacement engineer.
Salary and Benefits: Good basic salary plus open ended commission, overtime and bonuses giving realistic on target earnings of up to & over 39,000 per annum. Company van, mobile phone/device and full training will be provided.
As a Mobile Sales & Service Technician/Mechanical Fitter you will be expected to;
- Identify faults, service and repair a wide variety of plant and machinery, predominantly focusing on hydraulic hose equipment, across a wide variety of industries.
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements ensuring all machinery is safe and fit for purpose.
- Work independently and communicate at all levels, in a professional manner, whilst offering technical support and performing breakdown assistance.
- Proactively approach and introduce our full product range to new customers and develop our existing accounts to increase revenue and market share.
The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering/fitting or be a time served apprentice,
but is not essential as full training will be provided for on site training.
You will be self-motivated with strong communication skills, will have the desire to deliver excellent customer service and will be capable of building strong relationships to increase sales. A 'can do' attitude will be essential to maintain the level of service that our customers expect.Experience in fitting or maintaining hydraulic equipment and plant machinery is desirable but is not essential
as full training will be provided up to City and Guilds standard at our National Training Centre in Birmingham.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
