Job Title: Hydraulics Engineer
Salary: 32,553 (plus bonus for weekend working)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Location: Miller's Vanguard, Bury, BL9 6LE

We are seeking a

Hydraulics Engineer

to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, workshop-based environment with a focus on the repair, refurbishment, and assembly of hydraulic components.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, strip down, and refurbish hydraulic rams to industry standards Manufacture and assemble new hydraulic hoses to specifications Pressure test and quality check all refurbished and new components Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment Diagnose hydraulic faults and recommend practical repair solutions Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work

Requirements

Proven experience working with hydraulic systems and components Strong mechanical fitting skills and attention to detail Ability to read technical drawings and understand hydraulic schematics Experience with hose crimping equipment (desirable) Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to health & safety and quality standards
