Hydrostatic pressure tester

Icam Engineering LTD is searching for a Pressure Tester to join the team. This position is responsible for testing manufactured pieces based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our adopted standards to ensure quality standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with reasonable accommodation when necessary. Salary 26-30k annual salary based on experience and skill.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.

Inspect and test components, parts, assemblies to validate conformance to specified standards.

Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test

Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test system

Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our adopted standards

Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms

Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25kg

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
