are looking for a

Hygiene Operative

to join our team on a full-time basis,

working Monday to Friday,40hrs/week.



Job Purpose



To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in all non-production and production areas of the red meat site, including office spaces, changing rooms, factory toilets, PPE room, locker rooms, laundry area and production areas whenever required.

Key Responsibilities



Cleaning and sanitization of all non-production areas. Cleaning of factory floors, walls and work surfaces within allocated areas. Replenishment of consumables (toilet rolls, soap, paper towels, etc.) Segregation of soiled laundry. Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment, in line with training Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards Maintain domestic and Industrial Hygiene Standards Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists Maintain to Health and Safety Standards Actively participate in all required company training Complying with Company's health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements Carry out any other duties as directed Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder

Requirements



Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred Able to work in both chilled and warm environments Manual handling ability and awareness, must be fit and able Meticulous attention to detail essential Commitment to good practice Fluent English, Communicate well in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines Relationship builder with influencing skills Strong team player Flexible approach to working and committed to night shifts and potential weekend working
