Working Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hygiene Operative to join our Hygiene Department.

What you'll be doing

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a fundamental role in supporting the Hygiene team. You will:

Carry out all aspects of the hygiene functions within your area. Carry out and follow written hygiene procedures to ensure that high internal and customer expectations are met or exceeded. To ensure all machinery, equipment and areas are cleaned in accordance with the cleaning instructions and to the required frequency. Assist in the organisation of hygiene audits with immediate Hygiene Manager inclusive of time scaling machinery disassembly for inspection. Ensure that deep cleaning regimes within your remit (e.g. evaporators, walls and floors etc) are maintained and met in full. Maintain daily issue and retrieval of hygiene tools and equipment. Ensure that under no circumstances, chemicals are hand dosed.

What we need from you

Essential

We're looking for a proactive team player, with strong attention to detail and key time management skills. Whilst we are not looking for direct experience, our ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, communicate and the flexibility to adapt to new challenges.??

Desirable

Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment or a similar role is desired, but not essential.?We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and develop knowledge in food safety, chemical handling, production machinery, and H&S awareness.
