Job Purpose

The Cleaner plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of the production environment, offices, and communal areas. This position is essential in supporting Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance and upholding our high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning of production areas, offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Carry out deep cleaning and sanitation in accordance with GMP and company protocols. Safely use cleaning products and equipment in line with health and safety and COSHH guidelines. Ensure waste is disposed of appropriately and areas are kept free of hazards. Replenish hygiene supplies such as soap, hand towels, and sanitiser. Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Facilities or Site Manager. Follow cleaning schedules and complete cleaning logs as required. Support ad hoc cleaning tasks as directed by management.

Key Skills & Requirements

Prior cleaning experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing setting preferred. Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene protocols (including COSHH and GMP). Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods. Strong time management and reliability. Good communication and team-working skills.

Working Hours

Flexible shifts available (Morning, Afternoon, or Evening) Must be available for occasional weekend or deep-cleaning shifts when required
