Job Overview:

To clean and sanitize all designated production plant and adjacent areas to required standards following written procedures (CIC) and cleaning schedules for area.

To sign for completion of the work on the appropriate checklist.

To deliver right first time cleaning process against defined & trained parameters each & every shift in a methodical step by step process.

To follow cleaning schedules and cleaning tasks as directed by the Hygiene Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

1. Carryout all hygiene tasks in accordance with written approved procedures ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed to company standard.

2. Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet required standards, measured through ATP testing.

3. Disassembly/Reassembly of equipment in a trained, methodical & professional manner as per CIC training delivered.

4. To carryout post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly including carrying out ATP swabbing as per schedule.

5. Prepare and be responsible for any cleaning equipment used to carry out hygiene duties.

6. Reporting any incidents, faults of equipment or environmental concerns to your line Supervisor.

7. Be fully conversant with the safe preparation, handling storage and disposal of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants used in conjunction with your hygiene duties.

8. To Lead by example to others in GMP and hygiene practices.

9. To repair fabrication issue identified within production area where required and after finishing hygiene priorities.

10. To take ownership for the food safe cleaning delivery of your area, to own that area and be accountable for it.

11. To maintain and improve cleaning standards within each business unit on a shift by shift basis.

12. Ensure that all Food safety, quality and legality procedures and processes are followed.

13. To adhere to all site Health & Safety policies and operating practices.

14. Carryout other tasks which trained on, in support of the Company as may be required.

Shifts will be flexible between backshift & nightshift depending on Business requirements.

Entitled to Hygiene Shift Allowance paid for each shift worked.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.56 per hour
