Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Hygiene Operative to join our dynamic team. To work within a busy hygiene team maintaining high standards of cleanliness around all areas of the factory. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.

Food Production Operative - The Role:

Responsible for efficiently meeting all hygiene work requirements allocated to you by following operating procedures and works instructions. Work as part of a team to make sure everything runs smoothly Use and disassemble food production equipment safely Clean and sanitise production equipment, machinery, and work areas to agreed schedules. Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines. Carry out deep cleaning of designated areas, including hard-to-reach or high-level surfaces. Remove waste and ensure correct segregation and disposal in line with site procedures. Complete hygiene records accurately to document cleaning activities. Support the set-up and preparation of production areas after cleaning. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure hygiene tasks are completed on time. Identify and report any maintenance or hygiene issues promptly. Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements. Occasional driving duties (where a licence holder)
Food Production Operative - You:

Ability to speak and understand English Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Can stay focused on repetitive tasks Physically fit and able (a large amount of manual handling) Flexible with your work duties Good time management skills. Ability to work in chilled, hot and occasionally wet environments. Basic understanding of hygiene and safety in a food environment (training provided). Ability to drive a minibus would be desirable, but not a requirement
This role works on an eight hour shift rotation basis (5 days in 6). Candidates must be able to work rotational Saturdays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.62 per hour
