Backshift Hygiene Operative

Graham's The Family Dairy are seeking to appoint a Backshift Hygiene Operative at our site in Nairn. This is a permanent position, working 45 hours per week on a backshift from 2pm - 11:30pm, 5 days out of 7.

Job Overview

Working within a food manufacturing environment you will be responsible for ensuring all production areas, machinery and equipment are cleaned to the highest order at all times, always ensuring that food safety is not compromised. This role can be physically demanding

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks

Cleaning of processing equipment, production lines and machines to meet required standards, measured through testing of swabs or samples

Deep cleaning of production areas

Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed and signed off

Making sure that you comply with company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene

Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your manager

About you

Attention to detail is paramount, as is the ability to work under your own initiate or as part of a team to meet the standards required. Due to the nature of the role, manual handling is required. COSHH knowledge is advantageous. PPE will be provided, as will full training covering chemical handling, manual handling, and the use of equipment.
