We offer 12.80 per hour, increasing to 13.17 per hour after successful probation. Optional overtime is often available and paid at time and a half. We are looking for an experienced Hygiene Operative to join our team who is available to work set shifts Monday to Friday 8 am - 4 pm.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Working in our Factory you will ensure that all sweet production areas, equipment, and workspaces meet strict hygiene and cleanliness standards to maintain food safety and comply with regulatory requirements.

Cleaning and sanitizing:

regularly cleaning and sanitising equipment, work surfaces, and production areas to prevent contamination.

Hygiene Practices:

Ensure proper use of PPE.

Waste Management:

Properly handling and disposing of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Maintaining Records:

Keeping accurate records of cleaning schedules to comply with regulatory requirements.

Chemical Handling:

safely managing and using chemicals, ensuring they are stored correctly and used according to safety guidelines.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Experience and ability to use modern, cleaning equipment.


Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods.


Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.


Excellent organisational skills.
