The opportunity

As a Hygiene Operative, you'll make sure our production environment is spotless, safe, and compliant, ready for the next day's operations. The role is hands-on, working mainly after production has finished. You'll follow detailed schedules and procedures to maintain the highest hygiene and food safety standards.

This position is ideal for someone proactive, detail-driven, and proud of their work.

What you'll do

Carry out daily and scheduled cleaning tasks across production areas, machinery, and facilities Dismantle and deep-clean processing equipment before reassembly Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in line with COSHH guidelines Keep hygiene paperwork accurate and up to date Conduct visual checks and testing to verify cleanliness standards Coordinate with production colleagues to ensure safe, efficient cleaning routines Maintain floors, drains, waste areas, and general factory cleanliness Flag and act on any hygiene or safety issues immediately
