Hygiene Operative

to join our team, ensuring our hygiene standards are to the high standards our customers have come to expect from YPM.

Primary Purpose of the Role

To provide a comprehensive and thorough cleaning process to the YPM Factory, ensuring all company & regulatory standards of hygiene are maintained or exceeded.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Standards of Performance

Working with chemicals - wearing full PPE. Deep cleaning of the Factory to procedure, stripping and rebuilding equipment as appropriate. Working with cleaning solutions, materials, and cleaning equipment e.g., low pressure system. Checking that all machinery and equipment in the area is in a safe state before starting the cleaning. Working to procedure within a tight time scale delivering quality cleaning. Complete appropriate documentation to provide a clear audit trail of all Hygiene processes Conduct comprehensive ATP swabbing to release factory machinery back to production Work flexibly in line with factory needs as required. Risk assess all tasks and areas before undertaking the relevant duties. Any other duties deemed appropriate, as required.

Key Competencies

Food Safety Lv2 COSSH Qualified Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.02 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
