We are now looking to add to our site team in Leeds with a

Hygiene Supervisor

(on afternoons 1400-2200). Flexibility around working hours and days will be required as rotas will include weekend working.

Purpose of the Role:

To support the Hygiene Manager and the Hygiene Team by supervising the factory and office cleaning in line with the agreed hygiene schedules and cleaning instruction cards in order to maintain product safety and hygiene and microbiological standards.

Main duties will include:

Ensure your team comply with company and legislative H&S, food safety and personal hygiene procedures and regulations. Ensuring GMP standards are maintained, and green/good results are achieved on weekly audits by the technical team. Cleanliness of the canteens, locker rooms and toilet areas at all times as well as the production areas, and maintaining stock replenishment systems when required.

To succeed in this role, you will need the required skills and experience:

Proven experience of supervising and leading a hygiene team within a food manufacturing environment COSHH trained Flexible approach to working Possess a "right first time" diligent and conscientious work ethic Proven experience in driving improvements in site standard Excellent interpersonal and communication skills An understanding of efficiency and an ability to work under pressure
