Overview



We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Hygiene Supervisor to lead and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The successful candidate will support all operational activities within the factory, with a strong focus on continuous improvement of hygiene standards across the site.

This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and all relevant hygiene procedures. The Hygiene Supervisor will ensure evolution and compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manuals, Core Procedures and other defined standards. The role will also involve active participation in the development of site standards and people development.

Hours of Work and Shift Pattern



36 hours per week.

Rotating Sunday clean (12 hour shift) 1 week days, 1 week nights.

Remaining hours during office hours Tue - Fri, flexibility as required.

Duties



Ensure cleaning activities are completed to consistent site standards and site is audit ready every day. Work with the Technical and Operations teams across shifts to improve cleaning standards Ensure all equipment is cleaned in line with the relevant HIC/SOP Ensure all cleaned equipment is visually inspected post clean Ensure area is checked and cleared of foreign body hazards Ensure all correct cleaning equipment colour is being used and stored correctly when not in use Identify areas for improvement including the implementation of solutions Support Site Shift Managers to improve post clean start-ups. Identify areas for improvement on change over cleans and start-ups, including the implementation of solutions Escalate all Health & Safety concerns from cleaning procedures and work to find a solution Collaborating between Operations, Technical, Training and H&S departments Support employees with a system for highlighting continuous improvements Carrying out data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility Support departmental improvements Role expectations will be 80% factory based, 20% office based Be involved in continuous improvement projects - encourage others to come up with and implement ideas Manage HIC online. Including issuing and logging of cleaning schedules on System Assure (Diversey) and further development of HIC Ensure Clean As You Go (CAYGO) activity happens and drive GMP across the site. Drive the site to be audit ready in regard to Hygiene Standards at all times Actively take part in scheduled GMP audit activity with Site Shift Managers / Area Managers / QATs Ensure cleaning schedules are being adhered to and paperwork is completed appropriately Area cleaning standards and GMP / GHP standards Regulatory Audit scores (Customer / BRC) Health & Safety compliance

Desired Qualifications



Food Hygiene Level 3 HACCP Level 2 or above Good level of Written and Spoken English Computer Literate
