The Role:

To supervise the team to maintain Hygiene standards based on CIC'S, SOP'S and company procedures, ensuring all requirements for foods safety, quality, legality and customer are met.

On Offer:

15.44 per hour 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 14:00) Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Co-ordinate all cleaning activities Audit scheduled cleaning requirements to CIC'S standard Maintain daily, weekly & periodic sign off records ensuring correct and accurate completion Train hygiene operatives to ensure they are adhering to cleaning instruction card standards Ensure operatives are completing all hygiene operations in accordance with Health & Safety including COSHH, product safety, legality & quality requirements. Promote clean as you go and work to these standards daily. Ensure Hygiene operatives always wear PPE correctly, hairnet, safety shoes, overalls, chemical resistant gloves, safety glasses and any other PPE required. Work with Hygiene Manager within budgetary constraints, monitoring and managing colleagues Understanding pest awareness and report any activity to your Line Manager. Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set out in the safety, health & environment policy Carry out fabrication audit.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications :

Basic knowledge of Health and Safety Food Safety- level 3. HACCP level - 2/3 Previous experience in same or similar role Understanding and appreciation of Food Industry standards Ability to complete tasks thoroughly. Pest Awareness. Chemical Safety.
