1 session per week (3.5 hours)
Duration:
6 months (initial secondment to prove concept)
Remuneration:
100 per session
Reporting to:
Clinical Director
Main Responsibilities
Create and oversee communication channels for DT/H colleagues.
Champion good practice, new services, and opportunities.
Refine clinician support pathways and development programmes for DT/H teams.
Support the design and implementation of specific pathways to maximise potential in Direct Access and full scope therapy.
Skills and Experience Required
Completion of the
Dental Therapist Foundation Programme
.
Additional clinical skills, including
sedation qualification
.
Experience working at
full scope of practice
and within
Direct Access
.
Involvement in both
local initiatives
(e.g. Dental Therapist-led domiciliary services) and
national initiatives
(e.g. contribution to NHSE HMR exemptions training platform).
