Internal Job Opportunity - Hygiene/Therapist Clinical Lead (Secondment)

We are inviting expressions of interest for a
Hygiene/Therapist Clinical Lead
role, available on a6-month secondment (1 session per week)
. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and champion the role of Dental Therapists and Hygienists within our organisation.Key Details
Commitment:
1 session per week (3.5 hours)Duration:
6 months (initial secondment to prove concept)Remuneration:
100 per sessionReporting to:
Clinical DirectorMain Responsibilities
Create and oversee communication channels for DT/H colleagues. Champion good practice, new services, and opportunities. Refine clinician support pathways and development programmes for DT/H teams. Support the design and implementation of specific pathways to maximise potential in Direct Access and full scope therapy.
Skills and Experience Required
Completion of the
Dental Therapist Foundation Programme
. Additional clinical skills, includingsedation qualification
. Experience working atfull scope of practice
and withinDirect Access
. Involvement in bothlocal initiatives
(e.g. Dental Therapist-led domiciliary services) andnational initiatives
(e.g. contribution to NHSE HMR exemptions training platform).Why apply?
