Job Overview

We are looking for a third hygienist to join our practice to play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and promoting oral health education. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and patients to deliver exceptional care and support.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take medical histories and update patient records accurately. Utilise medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments. Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

The successful candidate should possess:

A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems is a plus but not essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. A commitment to ongoing professional development and patient care excellence.
We are in the heart of Crowthorne, very easy access from Bracknell, Reading, Basingstoke and other surrounding areas. Lots of free parking locally. We do have a carpark however it is small so we try to leave it for patients.
