A well established patient list ready for takeover

Our friendly, village practice was started in 2004. Located by the Dunstable ddowns and Whipsnade zoo, it caters for 4 surrounding villages, Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable.

Floss and Smile is a fully Private General Dental Practice.

We are a modern, fully digitalised practice with practice management software. CBCT scanner/ digital xrays / intra oral camera/ DSLR camera/ state of the art materials and equipment.

We have a lovely, highly skilled team compromising of 2 full time dentists / 3 part time dentists / 3 fulltime nurses /2 front of house/ 1 full time business manager

Our team loves dentistry and we are a bunch of quality conscious professionals focused on prevention.

An extremely important trait we all have in common is empathy!

We are looking for:

A hygienist /therapist with excellent communication skills Someone who loves to educate patients and would be comfortable using modern tools such as the intra oral camera / air polishers/ intra oral scanners ( training would be provided) Would be beneficial if you are comfortable in impression taking for whitening trays / night guards too/ Fluoride varnish Someone who is quality conscious and believes in checking xrays /patient notes / photos etc as a part of their treatment session Someone who is reliable, punctual and has patience and empathy.
Our practice provides general family dentistry and a large number of smile makeover cases including aligners, veneers and dental implants.

We are known for treating patients gently.

The patient appointment is relaxed -

The focus is on patient care and quality.

You will always have a dental nurse by your side for clinical assistance , note taking and decontamination

The diary is productive and well managed- usually 30 min appointments

- however we have flexible appointment times depending on type of treatment and patient's condition

Salary: Two options:

Option one: 40% renumeration - Self employed status so you can increase how much you earn according to the treatment you provide ( eg. tooth whitening / F- varnish etc)

or Option two: 35-50 pr hour

Brand-new state of the art equipment including CBCT scanner/ TV on ceiling intraoral cameras in every surgery - in newly renovated premises.

There is scope to further develop the role within the organisation itself.
