Job Description

As a CAX Technology Lead, you will be a key player in the development/consulting team to
Interface with client as Product Owner and ensure SAFe/Agile practices in the project
Realize requirements in the light of aerospace domain and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options & make recommendations
Outline the robust architecture understanding the relationship between future requirement and technology capability
Develop high level & detailed design, related process artifacts
Offer functional expertise, guidance, demonstrations, design workshops on leveraging the capabilities of the CAx centric tools
Provide solution design process, maintenance and support; implementation & deployment plan
Recommend improvements to processes and methodologies used within engineering to better leverage the benefits
Carry out root cause analysis to optimize team potential, exploring lean possibilities and working closely with the delivery team, support teams, process owners etc.
In charge for facilitating creation, publication and maintenance of documentation suitable for the support of 3DExperience CAD centric tools and methodologies
Mentor the development team and lead by example to achieve the deliverables, support knowledge transfer and provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape
 
 This position may require 15% travel.
 
Required
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.”
At least 8 years of experience with industry well know CAX application platforms
 
Preferred
6 to 8+ years of experience in CAx customization/automations and development activities
Experience of Aerospace design life cycle processes and good understanding of PLM, CAD, CAE, CAM tools
Possesses very good configuration and customization skills in CAx platform
Hands of experience on customization/automation on any major CAx tools (like CATIA V4/V5, CADAM, CADDS5, AUTOCAD, ANVIL etc.), 3DX, DOTNET, MVC and scripting exposure would be beneficial
Capable of administering and delivering the best practice methodologies on CAx
Good knowledge of engineering tasks and association to CAx applications is an added advantage
Experience of SAFe/Agile way of working; Efficient in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting & mapping current business process
Expertise of analyzing problem statement, creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design of processes
Proficient in Development/Configuration/Solutions evaluation/Validation and Deployment
