Context:
We currently have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer IC to join our engineering team to support high work levels on Dubai Blue Line and various UK projects. Missions/Main Duties:
The Mechanical Engineer's main duties will be the production of MEP designs as instructed by the projects Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) and/or Lead Engineer and to be responsible for:

• Ensuring designs are completed to meet CRE/Lead Engineers requirements.
• Ensuring designs are completed to the timescales agreed with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
• Planning the allocated design works to meet the agreed timescales.
• Identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise the changes with the CRE/Lead Engineer.

Profile/Skills:

• Flexibility in working hours will be required to meet the demands of the role
• Ability to travel to client sites and other SYSTRA offices will be required
• Knowledge of mechanical services design within the built environment or transport infrastructure including HVAC, Public Health, Building Physics and BIM
• Knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with M&E and building services
• Knowledge of construction principles and standards
• Previous experience working in the Middle East would be desirable but not essential
