ICD Care Consultant Team Leader

Introductory Care Department (ICD)

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership, direction, and day-to-day support to your team, ensuring efficient client-carer matching, compliance, and operational excellence. You will foster a positive and professional culture that encourages adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support a team of Care Consultants to achieve departmental goals Oversee and maintain the quality of client-carer matching and scheduling efficiency Provide support on escalated or urgent client/carer issues Encourage adaptability and resilience within the team, ensuring alignment with business needs Drive effective collaboration between the ICD and Managed Care departments Manage your own portfolio of clients while supporting process improvements across the team

About You

We are looking for someone with proven leadership experience and a strong understanding of live-in care services. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate others, embrace change, and maintain high professional standards.

Essential skills and experience include:

Leadership or supervisory experience in social care, recruitment, or a similar environment Knowledge of live-in care, compliance, and carer-client matching Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to build collaborative relationships and inspire confidence IT literacy and familiarity with scheduling systems
