We are seeking a passionate and creative Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious ice cream flavours and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Duties

Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes to create a variety of ice cream flavours. Operate ice cream machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor the production process to ensure quality control and consistency in flavour and texture. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to develop new flavours and products based on seasonal trends or customer feedback. This work requires good levels of strength and stamina and often involves lifting of up to 25kg

Experience

Previous experience in food production or culinary arts is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A passion for ice cream and an eagerness to learn about flavour combinations and production techniques. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment or use your own initiative.
This is a full time permanent contract.

Hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

You must have your own transport as the factory is located out of town.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
