Full time and part time Ice Cream Van Operators Required in Shoeburyness Essex!

We are looking for hard working, reliable, trustworthy people to join our team of Ice cream van drivers for the 2025 season. FULL TIME / PART TIME / MONDAY - FRIDAY / WEEKENDS ONLY

The FLEXI TIME position will be from March until the end of September.

Flexible working days but must include weekends, school holidays and bank holidays. Holiday pay will be calculated on the amount of hours worked. Average working hours are 12PM-8PM weekdays and 10AM-8PM weekends, these are not set times and are subject to change depending on event bookings.

The PART TIME position will be from March until the end of September/October working weekends, school holidays and bank holidays. Holiday pay will be calculated on the amount of hours worked. Average Part time working hours are 10AM-8PM, these are not set times and are subject to change depending on event bookings.

The job will involve serving customers Ice creams and drinks in a friendly and polite manner, making ice creams from a soft ice cream machine, using a till and card machine, keeping the inside of the van clean at all times, driving the Ice cream van on a set route or to events.

Full training will be given so no need for any experience, just the will to work as part of a team and mainly individually with own initiative, be active and flexible and have the desire to learn.

Searching for suitable candidates that meet the criteria below:

Over 18's with at least 1 years driving experience.

Please note, all available positions require a full UK manual drivers license. Any mobile phone related endorsements on your license will not be accepted by the insurers unfortunately, so please do not apply if you have any unspent mobile phone points still showing on your license.

On being invited for an interview you agree to bring your National Insurance number and full valid up to date drivers license, which includes your current address details and matches the online license check performed on the DVLA's website.
