We are seeking a dedicated ICT / Computing Tutor to provide in-person tutoring for KS2, KS3, GCSE and potentially A-Level students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEND children and young people and be adept at making IT engaging and fun through creative teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ICT/Computing to students at KS2, KS3, GCSE and potentially up to A level.
- Utilise multi-sensory methods to enhance learning.
- Create engaging and fun lesson plans.
- Work 1:1 with students, adapting to their individual needs.
- Understand and implement EHCPs.
- Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet students' unique needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with a team to provide the best educational experience for students.
Requirements:
- Specialism in computing/ICT.
- Experience working with SEND children and young people.
- Ability to read and understand EHCPs.
- Awareness of working with young people performing below expected academic levels.
- Flexible, adaptable, reliable, and a team player.
Additional Information:
- Flexible hours and days as needed. This job is a self-employed contract where we shall supply you with hours and you will invoice us. Hourly rate will depend on qualifications and experience.
-Options to tutor other subjects like maths, engineering and PHSE also.
-QTS preferred, not essential.
