We're looking for a proactive and security-minded ICT Service Delivery Technician to strengthen our team. In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of Microsoft Intune management, ensure compliance across Microsoft 365, lead vulnerability management (including the Qualys platform), and support our ongoing commitment to Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
You'll play a key part in maximising the value of our Microsoft licensing investment--particularly in the areas of security and compliance--while contributing to the delivery of a responsive and efficient service desk. Working closely with the Service Delivery & Cloud Services Lead, you'll help manage and enhance our infrastructure and cloud environments, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
We're seeking someone with a solid foundation in endpoint management, cloud security, and IT compliance frameworks, ready to make a meaningful impact within our ICT Service Delivery Team.
What do our ICT Service Technician - Security and Compliance do;
Manage and maintain Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 Compliance, including device policies, secure score improvements, and conditional access across multiple platforms.
Oversee vulnerability management using the Qualys platform--conducting scans, analysing risks, and coordinating remediation efforts.
Support Cyber Essentials Plus certification, ensuring technical controls are in place and collaborating with auditors and stakeholders.
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via the service desk, assisting with issue resolution, call assignment, and liaising with external support when needed.
Maintain ICT systems and documentation, including security platforms (e.g. Mimecast), hardware/software inventories, SOPs, and data protection compliance.
What we are looking for;
ICT or ICT Security related qualification
Strong technical experience across Microsoft platforms, including Intune, Endpoint Manager, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, Azure, and vulnerability management tools such as Qualys.
Proven background in ICT support and networking, including 1st line support, LAN/WAN/wireless networks, and enabling secure mobile working with smartphones.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills, with practical knowledge of web technologies, Cyber Essentials Plus, and the ability to learn quickly and train others.
Excellent communication and self-management abilities, able to work independently, take initiative, and engage effectively with colleagues and external partners at all levels.
