Job description
Key Responsibilities
Design, support and implement solutions IAM technology and integrations
Access control and monitoring.
Work with other teams to agree Implementation plans and effort.
Design and implement solutions for identity lifecycle, access provisioning, and authentication workflows.
Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and third-party identity providers.
Support the configuration of single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged access management (PAM).
Identify IDAM requirements, define IDAM designs, support integration, configuration and testing of IDAM solutions and platforms.
Key Outputs and Deliverables
Lead and work within CDIO function to create and deliver an IAM strategy and governance for Ofgem.
End-to-end user provisioning and lifecycle management.
IDAM & PAM technology implementation & configurations.
Design, support and implement solutions IAM technology and integrations
Access control and monitoring
Leadership and collaboration.
Provide documentation and resources to colleagues across Information Services, ensuring that all services are fully supported, and end users have access to appropriate technical Support and information.

Person specification
Essential Criteria
Proven experience in IAM/IDAM engineering. (Lead criteria)
Familiarity with IAM and PAM tooling (e.g., Delinea, Quest, One Identity, CyberArk, or similar). (Lead criteria)
Hands on experience of IDAM protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, Shibboleth, Active Directory or similar directory services (OpenID Connect is a plus!). (Lead criteria)
Demonstrable experience working in an IDAM engineering role or equivalent security related discipline, and how these concepts work together to create a secure IDAM environment.
Be able to evidence good collaborative working within IT and beyond, demonstrating good communication skills (working as part of a project or incident team for example).
Desirable Criteria
Experience of establishing continuous monitoring mechanisms to detect and respond to unauthorized access attempts.
