IFS ERP Manager
to take ownership of our UK IFS system and drive continuous improvement across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how our organisation uses IFS, working closely with Finance, IT, Operations, and Group Support to ensure the system delivers maximum value.
About the Role
As our IFS ERP Manager, you will oversee the full administration, configuration, optimisation, and support of the IFS ERP system. You'll act as the bridge between technical teams and business users, ensuring our IFS environment runs smoothly, supports key processes, and evolves in line with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
System Management & Administration
Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of the IFS ERP system
Troubleshoot issues related to functionality, user access, and data integrity
Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings
Oversee configurations, workflows, and module customisation
Configuration & Customisation
Configure and maintain IFS modules (Finance, Work Orders, Supply Chain, Time & Attendance, Expenses, etc.)
Review setups and recommend process improvements or automation
Create and modify IFS Lobbies and Quick Reports
Manage workflows, event actions, and business rules
Data Management & Reporting
Oversee data imports/exports, cleansing, and mass updates
Support data migration during upgrades or new module rollouts
Develop and maintain operational and analytical reports
Implementation & Upgrades
Support ERP implementations, testing, and go-live activities
Assist with patches, upgrades, and enhancements
Participate in UAT and create relevant technical documentation
User Training & Documentation
Deliver user training and create system guides
Maintain accurate documentation and standard operating procedures
Integration & Collaboration
Work with IT and third-party teams to integrate IFS with other systems (MES, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
Collaborate with functional leads and external consultants on enhancements
Support API, interface, and customisation projects
Test and validate changes, upgrades, and new modules
What We're Looking ForExperience
2-5 years supporting ERP systems (ideally IFS Apps 9/10 or IFS Cloud)
Experience with SQL, Crystal Reports, and integration concepts
Hands-on experience with IFS configuration, workflows, and security administration highly advantageous
Knowledge of key business modules such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Maintenance, or Projects
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of IFS architecture and module functionality
SQL/database query skills
Experience with Crystal Reports, IFS Lobbies, and Quick Reports
Basic knowledge of APIs, middleware, and integration tools
Familiarity with Aurena, lobby design, and projections
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical approach
Effective communicator with great teamwork capability
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Detail-focused with excellent documentation and training skills
