Job Description

An exciting opportunity, has arisen for a self-motivated and forward thinking Imaging Operations Lead Radiographer, to join the Modality Leads' team. This post is at St Mary's Hospital, which is a key leadership role and the successful candidate will be a role model for demonstrating our Trust's values through their leadership behaviours, working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and be committed to providing high quality patient care.



We are looking for a dedicated & experienced Radiographer with proven team leadership and communication skills, to be responsible for the operational management of Imaging services ensuring optimum use of staffing and equipment resources throughout the department in conjunction with the team of Modality Leads.



As part of the first Academic Health Science Centre our aim is to provide world-class healthcare to our patients through excellence in research, education and training. Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust comprises of five hospitals - Charing Cross, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea, Hammersmith, St Mary's, Western Eye and the Community Diagnostic Centre.



Deputise for the Clinical Services Manager during periods of absence.



To work in collaboration with the modality leads responsible for the service



Manage and supervise staff and students.



To ensure the provision of a high quality service and maintain a safe environment.



Commitment to Trust and Directorate objectives.



Support staff training and development programmes.



To provide professional leadership within Imaging.



Communicate effectively across the department
