Overview

Looking for experienced, hardworking and highly capable sub-contract industrial blaster and painter, ideally with ICATS certification.

Should have experience with manual preparation techniques on steelwork, open nozzle blast cleaning to SA2.5 and application of protective coatings using brush, roller and spray.

We work nationwide, with travel and accommodation paid when away from home.

Responsibilities

Carry out construction painting tasks with attention to detail and quality standards Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth workflow Follow project specifications and deadlines to complete assigned tasks on schedule Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored Report any issues or delays promptly to the relevant supervisor for resolution

Experience

Proven experience in industrial painting or similar roles within the construction industry Valid driving licence Strong communication skills in English Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: 16.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week
